A grueling physical challenge becomes a high-stakes, inspiring mission to prove to his daughter that her condition won't define her limits.
Rising Waters is a 2024 community play produced by Valley Arts in the Chew Valley. It commemorates the 1968 floods through a story created by local residents, featuring a community cast, professional creative team, and large-scale puppets, exploring themes of local history and environmental resilience.
Trash Free Trails' "pump track but it's clean" is a community-focused tour and award-winning film project (selected for Kendal Mountain Festival 2025) that cleans, restores, and celebrates local pump tracks. The initiative connects riders to nature, tackling single-use pollution at locations like Bristol's Hartcliffe and Sheffield's Hillsborough through, jam sessions and trail cleaning.
"Hidden Voices" is a 2025 community play and project celebrating Valley Arts' 10th anniversary in the Chew Valley. It is a locally created, outdoor performance featuring residents of all ages, focusing on themes of local stories, environmental care, and intergenerational connection.

This has been an amazing project - creating a brand new downhill freeride MTB line for people to ride, love and enjoy on their mountain bikes! Caersws Bike Park have smashed the build and this trail has every jump we can think of. Such a cool Helfare partnership with Shimano UK too. RAW 100 style.
Despite being a World Champion Mountain Biker, before his life changing accident Martyn never got the opportunity to visit Whistler. So with some help from his friends and a lot of planning Martyn's dream has been made a reality. He's off to Whistler. Getting Martyn to Canada, on a specially modified bike that he could race on was a huge accomplishment. It's an accomplishment that the whole GMBN team are super proud of and we hope you love this video as much as we loved filming it!
